Blunt cut
A blunt cut is a cut in which the ends are trimmed straight across for a solid, defined edge. It matters because the edge changes how full hair looks: fine hair often looks denser with a blunter edge, while thick hair can look heavy and may need texturizing. A blunt fringe makes a strong graphic line, whereas Korean-style looks more often soften the ends. It is the opposite approach to point cutting.
