Heat protectant
A heat protectant is a product applied before hot tools to reduce heat-related dryness and damage. It matters because frequent high heat can dry and damage hair, and it does not make heat harmless, so keep temperatures low to moderate and give your hair breaks between sessions. It is commonly used before a dryer, curling iron or straightener when shaping a fringe or waves. A small amount is enough.
