Fringe

A fringe is the front section of hair that falls over the forehead; it is called bangs in American English. In Korean-style cuts it is treated as a design feature and can be thin, side-swept or parted in the middle. It matters because the fringe changes the whole look of a cut and grows into the eyes faster than the rest, so it usually needs trims between full haircuts.
